I noticed something weird today when I was looking at the rpms that where listed as being installed in rpmdrake. everything was entered twice. I certainly didn't install every package twice, so I have no idea how this happened. If you have any ideas as to how to fix this problem (can I I have rpm look and see what packages are installed?) I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

I havn't used a rpm distro but I am assuming that one of the files is for instance the program and the other is the dev such as:
alsa
alsa (dev)

no, every single package was listed twice. However, it turns out that it was rpmdrake that was causing the problem...I noticed kpackage and rpm (console) weren't having the problem. I removed rpmdrake and then reinstalled it....that took care of the problem
