Specifying window placement in X

I recently picked up a geforce2 with svideo input. I have it working such that I basically have my desktop stretched across a tv and a monitor-each at different resolutions. I want to use the right side of my desktop --the tv-- for emulators. I can do it with moving the window over there, but I would like to have it set up so when I launch the window is placed over there. How can I do this? I would prefer to use windowmaker..

I don't know anything about windowmaker, but in enlightenment you can make it remember the positions of a window if you want to.

So if you were to use englightenment, you could just open the window, put it where you want it, then right click on the title bar, select remember, and tell it to remember the position.
