KDE/OpenOffice.org-fonts.

I am using the true type-fonts of Windows. The fonts are fine in KDE, KWord and other K-applications; both with and without antialiasing, but in OpenOffice.org and many other non-KDE-apps they seem distorted; still both with and without antialiasing.

When antialiased they look extremely fuzzy, and when not they look quite odd in other ways.

I'm using KDE 3.1 on Slackware 9.0.

I don't think all fonts are supported in full AA. Did you install the fonts properly via command line? The KDE font installer doesn't cut it. It'll only be used in KDE programs.
