I am running Mandrake 8.0 with cups and an HP Laserjet 4.
What I want to do is this.
I want to be able to easily produce pdf files from any application.
I'd like to be able to define a "mock" printer so that when I print to this printer I end up with a pdf file. The pieces appear to be around: postscritp, ps2pdf, etc.
I cannot believe someone has not already tied these together. But my search efforts have been daunted by the ubiquity of the word pdf on the net.
Anyone know if someone has already invented this wheel?
