Mandrake 8.1 Nvidia Drivers

I hope this will be a simple problem to resolve. I am using the beta version of mandrake (8.1) and attempting to install the nvidia drivers for my geforce2 pro.

I downloaded the two rpm packages from Nvidia's site and unpackaged both successfully. After that, I modified my x config file and proceeded to "startx".

When I issue this command, it appears to work, but then gives an error message saying something like: "No screens found"

I have installed these drivers successfully on redhat, but need some help with mandrake. Any would be greatly appreciated.

i would guess that you need to build from the *.tar.gz to match the kernel version in 8.1
