I am trying to install wine. Everything seems to compile fine, but I run into problems when I try to run a windows exe. At the end of the installation, it said that Windows was not on my machine (which it is). I don't know if its not finding it because it is on a totally different hard drive. I do have its partition mounted. Then, it asks me where I want to put its windows files--the default was /c. Should I have pointed it to my Windows partition? I didn't do this because I didn't know if it would overwrite/delete any of my files.
I did try and copy some exe's into the created /c directory, and when I try to run it, it simply spits out text in the shell. What the heck is going on?
