So far I tried Gentoo and Knoppix and neither has initial support. Dlink's website doesn't have drivers either, though I probably wouldn't know how to install them anyhow;)

I could probably use a Linkys wireless card, but at longer ranges, where both cards work at 4-2mbps, the 650H is twice as fast (tested it myself). It's also using a newer chip and supposedly is a bit better when working with 64bit or 128bit encryption.

Your best bet is to dump the Dlink card, I've only ever seen one Dlink card driver and that was a binary built for a specific older mandrake kernel that didn't work anyway. I had a Dlink dwl-650+ card in my laptop, I had to junk that for an Agere ORiNOCO Gold card... works like a charm.

it works great on Redhat 9. Just use redhat-config-network to set it up.
