Wu-FTP RH-RH 7.1

I'm trying to connect via ftp a RH 7.1 system to a RH 7.1 system with wu-ftpd server. I can ping the addresses back and forth, but I can't ftp into Euclid(wu-ftp server).

Is there anything in the /etc/ftp* files I need to change? part of the deny/allow thing?

On the system, type telnet localhost 21
See what happens.

You have to turn it on first.

The xinetd file is in /etc/xinetd.d/wu-ftpd...

then set disable to yes
