1. I installed xmovie and while I was trying it out, I tried to switch to fullscreen. Now, all I get is a black screen. And, everytime I start it up again, it immediately goes to fullscreen. I figured I could just right click or something to get back to normal, but no luck. I figured there is some type of keyboard shortcut, but I can't seem to guess what it is. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the rpm but it still goes to fullscreen automatically. Any ideas?

2. Every time I log in, some of the programs I use automatically start up. How can I prevent this.?

It would help to know what window manager you are using...

When you log out is there an option to "save settings" or something like that? There is on gnome, I think.

Close all your applications. Log out. Check the "save settings" box. Hit ok. Log back in and when you log out uncheck the box so it doesn't save them again.

To resize the window manually hold down the alt key and use the left mouse button.

Of course these don't work for all window managers. I would say that there is a 1:10 you are using the window manager I think you are.

post again and say how it worked...
