Have a couple of questions on installing Snort ver2.0.0 onto a RH 7.3 server that's already configured with mysql ver4.0.12, php ver4.3.1, & apache ver2.0.45. I'm trying to follow along with the install doc located at snort doc (http://www.snort.org/docs/snort-rh7-mysql-ACID-1-5.pdf) and I've encountered my first problem. I get the following eror:
ERROR: unable to find mysql headers (mysql.h)
checked in the following places
/usr/include
/usr/include/mysql
/usr/local/include
/usr/local/include/mysql
Anyone have experience with this issue that care to shed some light on how to resolve it?
TIA
