A friend told me to try it out. I downloaded the live cd and ran it on my home laptop (1.8GHz P4/Mobility 9000). Imagine my surprise, working in KDE in three minutes. Yep. No install, it just boots from cd straight to Linux. Now, all I need is a usb keychain drive and I can store all my settings on it! I then can take it anywhere and boot right into MY desktop environment. Windows, eat your heart out. Wow!
After a day of bouts with gentoo setup on a 266mhz laptop at work, this was a breath of fresh air I needed!:D
