Micq Problem

Does any micq users here have a problem of sending a message and the other side not recieving it? I am constantly having this problem and its a pain in the ***. It clearly shows that my message was sent but the other side did not recieve it. I used to have this problem with krolden too. So I switch to licq and I find that if I uncheck 'send through server' every message gets across succesfully. I began to believe that this 'send through server' option was on default in micq and krolden. Anyone care to explain to me what this 'send through sever' thingy is? And anyone who had this problem manage to curb it somehow?

ive used micq with no problem

is your pc directly connected to the net or going through a proxy or a firewall or something

i too am not too sure about the send through server either

maybe it literally sends the message to the icq message server rather than to the recipient directly

then again i dont know how icq operates anyway
