Hi...

I'm running Mandrake Linux 7.2 on my system. Upon a reboot, the system stopped and dumped me out to a command prompt. It found an error on the disk that can't be autofixed. So I had to fsck it manually. And below is the message I get. Can any of you guys tell me what this mean? Is my disk physically bad? It's talking about blocks... Beaucoup thanks in advance!

Hit Y. Repeatedly, if needed. The default choice is usually the best.

I had that error when I put a new HD in my PC. My BIOS had been changed to not "Auto" detect my hard drive, so it thought that my old HD was still in the PC. Moral of the story, make sure your BIOS is automatically detecting your hard drive. Hope this helps
