How do i disable my firewall. It was the firewall that comes with debian. It is setup to medium.

Thats what i dont know. It came with debian. I installed debian of a minimal install and got the rest off the internet.

can you give us the results of:

uname -a

and

lsmod


And surely you must know what version of Debian you installed.

uhh on redhat you just type setup into the terminal and run a program. if you serach around in preferances or something im sure you could probably find it.
