I am wondering how to find out what options are enabled on my current kernel config so I can make sure they are enabled when I compile the kernel I'm about to do.
I know I saw this post somewhere and have done the search thing, but I cant for the life of me find it.
I have just re-installed collegelinux and it does not have smp support enabled right off the bat, hence the need to recompile. I tried this once already, but a few things stopped working (eth0, onboard via sound, etc.). i want to make sure I get the right things enabled this time to avoid that again, so where do I find the current kernel config?
system: collegelinux
MSI 694pro D, dual PIII 733s
512mb
2 HDs (hda1 with win2k pro and hdb2 with collegelinux)
onboard via sound
geforce2 32mb vcard
in the mean time, I'll keep searching for that post. :)
