RH suprised me....

Yesterday I was going through some HDs that have been laying around to find good ones and trash the bad.
I had installed RH on one a few weeks ago when it was in another machine....
It booted without a hiccup...
kudzo reconfigured the NIC, vid card, and sound....
xf86config...and that was that...
cool....

wow, winders usually won't do that

although i recently changed my daughters box, video card was the same and hd, but the rest was different. i was going to blow it away and start from scratch, as i normally would with winders, but i figured , what the hey, might as well try it, it was late

and after about 8-10 reboots, it is working just fine :eek: i was surprised

glad to know linux can do the same ;)
