OK - I've been reading up on Firewall & proxy stuff and I cant find anything that really explains it simply. I'd like to be able to use my linux box as a proxy server for HTTP, FTP, ICQ, & Quake 3. I've done the HTTP proxy part with squid but couldnt get any further.
Can somebody give me a simple outline of how to set up firewall rules? Or point me to a really basic linux firewall document? (I'm using redhat 7.1 by the way) I will probably use firewall-config or some similar program.
