Im trying to install Mixmaster on Mandrake 8. On the install it stops when it cant find openssl and it asks me to download from a site.
I have a more recent version of openssl installed in /usr/bin which is in my path. I have changed the permissions to 744 and I have put a symlink bettween the directory where mix is installing from to the openssl in /usr/bin. Trouble is it still cant see the open ssl.
Could anyone suggest what else I might try.
