ok, i'm using debian woody. i need to run vncserver so i can see what's going on. (i'm not very perficient with the cli yet.) anyway, i did and apt-get install vncserver and then issued an su to the user i want the service running under. when i execute, vncserver from the prompth, i get this....

after entering the password and then re-entering for verification, it says:

~/.vnc: No such file or directory

the confusing part is that it does create the folder in my home dir, but gives this error anyway. Anyway, the service doesn't start up and I'm not sure what to do because the error is so vague. Anyone had this before?
