Is there a Real Player for Linux? If so, where can I get it?

Um, doesn't real.com have a unix downloadable version on their webpage? If not, there are RealPlayer rpms and debs out there, for rpm try rpmfind.net and for debs check out some contrib, non-free, non-us sites.

If by alternative you mean something else that plays realmedia files, I don't think so.

Otherwise realplayer runs very nicely in Linux. I installed it with the rpm, when I click on rm/ram links in konqueror they play in realplayer and all that.

I suppose if you have a version of Windows installed on your machine and WINE installed, you could run the win32 version of RealPlayer on your linux system. If it comes to that.
