subdomain

I know this question has been asked many times, and I have read through most of the post related to subdomain. Something that still confusing me is what should I do after configure and restart httpd.conf?

My dns provider is zoneedit.com, I added cname for subdomain.domain.com to domain.com.
However, I didnt get any response from nslookup for my newly added subdomain.domain.com

Thanks for viewing my problem, I got it figure out. It is my soa record error. =)
