I still haven't succeded in sharing my connection with my RedHat 7.1-box.
I tried the guide linuxnewbie.org has (Easy internet sharing) but it didn't work...it just doesn't forward my packets.
I wanna share my connection with my network (eth1, 192.168.1.*), with IP Masquerading.
Kernel 2.4.5 i think, what should I do???

2.4 kernels usually uses iptables, unless you manually load ipchains. Although with the recent versions of gShield, it makes no difference.
What error messages are you getting?

Have you tried logging into X-Windows as root and then going into System->Network Configuration? (easiest way to set this up).
You need to set up your gateway on any machine you want to make use of the internet connection.
Hmm, I'm a little confused as to exactly how your LAN configuration is set up. Can you elaborate and I'll try to be more specific.

I know how to set up the other computers, 'cause the server was running WinNT before, worked fine.
From the server, I can ping the rest of my network, and ping servers on the internet. From MY computer (in the network), I can ping the server, but not anything located on the net.
And btw, I haven't tried gShield.
I'll try, but please respond to this thread anyway, I'm refreshing often. :)

The reason I recommended gShield in the tutorial was because it automatically sets up the NAT for you quick and easy. You just have to modify the very well commented configuration file, run it, and you're set to go.
