any links to suse 8.2 i want to upgrade from 8.1
can you update from 8.1 will it just install the new items or do you have to do clean install

Got email from amazon.com that suse8.2 will be delayed till close to the end of april, dangit allready got new dvd player for the install, maybe their trying to get some stuff worked out. Hope it works better than 8.1 not that there was anything wrong but it does have it days.

Since when is Amazon.com a reliable source for the release dates of Linux distibutions? Perhaps THEY won't have it, but that doesn't mean no one else will.

Well I hope your right but it bites that I will have to wait for my copy, but I got it for only 69 us bucks with a 2 day for 0 bucks fedex vs 79 bucks plus 20 bucks fedex from suse, allready purchased suse7.3 and 8.0 and 8.1 from them, together cost more than mircoyouknowwho, I just got my truck engine fixed up with a new one which set me back around 3600 bucks so I need to watch how much I spend untill next payday.

SuSE8.2 Will not be out on the market intell 4/15/03 to 4/20/03 some were in there I must say it is a big inprovment over 8.1. I'm on it right now, I got from a friend working at suse :p :p

Anyway, that rocks. I can't wait. SuSE is my favorite so far because of all the nifty software it comes with out of the box and the speed.
