I'm having some major mozilla problems. I just installed mozilla 1.3 and everything was working fine. Then, out of the blue, it kept freezing on me. I could not figure out what the problem was. Then I found that everytime I click into a text area, like Google Search, it would freeze. I tried 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4b versions of mozilla and it still happens. I'm using konqueror to type this browser. Please Help.

I have the same problem. I'm using slackware 9.0. When I start it up and click in a text area, mozilla freezes, I leave it for around 4 minutes and it starts to work normally, no problems. It only occurs when I start it up.

As Hayl suggested in this thread (http://justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=105994), try running from the terminal and watch for errors etc.

Try also 1.0 (never crashes :)), or 1.4 stable (http://freshmeat.net/releases/127872/).
