Hayl 04-08-2003, 11:03 AM no LrngTheHardWay 04-08-2003, 11:25 AM Unless you have some sort of supremely compelling reason to actually have another OS on a machine (it doesn't make much sense to have 2 OSses on a server), your Linux installation task is actually easier....just boot from the installation CD-ROM and let-'er-rip. Most distros that I've seen give varying degrees of automated partitioning during the install process, and there's always fdisk--if that's your concern. redcape 04-10-2003, 08:46 AM Mandrake is a fine desktop distribution, but is not recommended for servers. Redhat, Debian or Slackware are more common choices.
