First off, my situation: I am running Xbox-Linux Debian 0.3.1, on (you guessed it) my Xbox. For those of you who don't know about Xbox-Linux, it's just linux for the Xbox; the only documented difference is in the bootloader. I have installed RealPlayer 8, since I am only using Linux (on my Xbox anyway, may get a PC version later on) is to ba able to play my *.rm files. Apparently the Unix version of RealPlayer doesn't support full-screen playback (according to real.com). However with the RealPlayer codecs installed and copied to /usr/lib/RealPlayer8/Codecs (that is where MPlayer said it was trying to locate the drivers, so that's where I put them), I can play the RM files in MPlayer. When I open a RM file in MPlayer it plays back at fullscreen, only at about 3x speed (sound and all). This is my problem; wait, it gets worse. So I did some poking around the internet looking for a way to fix it, and I was told to upgrade MPlayer. So I went to the MPlayer site and got the latest version (0.90, I think), only when I tried to install it, I was told that GUI support (which I want) would not work with out X11 support and that the installation failed because of it. So I go looking for this X11 and was told that if I were to apt-get update then atp-get upgrade, X11 would get installed and MPlayer would get updated and the playback fixed. So I go and do an apt-get update, witch runs (has a few errs, but finishes). Then I apt-get upgrade, which tells me it can't access the files and to run apt-get update to fix it. So I run apt-get update again, this time it gives me a string of errors about not being about to access a bunch of addresses. When it finishes, it tells me to run apt-get update to fix the errors, well I'm not that dumb so I left it alone and came here. My only priority is to get RM files to play at fullscreen without any problems. So, I am looking for the easiest way to fix the RM playback (preferbaly in MPlayer). If apt-get needs to be fixed for me to acomplish this, here is my sources.list (since all the errors I keep getting say something about not being able to get to a source):
