emacs in Mandrake 8.1

When i installed Drake 8.1 i thought i installed everything possible...

but i guess this doesn't include emacs...

so is there a mandrake equivalent to emacs? or how hard would it be to install emacs?

Vi, Jed, or Joe are all possible editors it could install. If you go into X windows, you have plenty of choices.

Emacs/Xemacs should be on one of the CDs. You can use 'RPM Drake' to search for 'installable' packages, and it should tell you which CD to pop into the drive, and then hit OK to install it.
