Question 1

what type of printer do you have?
have you checked to make sure it works under linux take a look at http://www.linuxprinting.org/printer_list.cgi

Question 2

what screen capture are you using?
what DE or window manager are you using gnome or kde or blackbox?

if you use ksnapshot or the gnome screen caputre program you will just need to make sure you save the captured image in a format that a windows can read eg the jpeg or giff format I know paint can read those along with word.

Question 3

what type of modem do you have is it a hardware modem or a winmodem? what type of box do you have is it a whitebox or an oem box eg Dell,HP (OEM)? if you have a winmodem those can be diffcult to setup in linux

hope that helps post back with the info I requested & will see if we can get you going
