it says on cdrom.com that the next release of :cool: Slackware :cool: is due out in Feburary
it shouldn't be far off
btw, don't believe slashdot on its release :)

Ok... so I was running slack 7.1, I had it almost perfect, when I decided to use X_console's SlackUp to upgrade all my packages.
I ran slackUp -a -u
it ran for two days dling all the packages....
then it came up with an error. One of my libraries was missing.
I no longer had any of the system ustils (cp, rm ls, etc...)
