Hey everybody !

After some experience with RedHat 7 i thought it would be maybe time to try something else . I know for sure that Mandrake for some reasons doesnt work on my pc but for the rest iam kinda open for suggestions . The only things i want are kernel 2.4 and kde 2.0 . Any suggestions ?

Ok i saw that other ppl asked that before - sorry for that . As i could see Slackware seems to be the right choice for me ?

It could be the right choice or not. Try it, and don't ask. Do you ask people what car you should buy, or what food to order? No, you choose the one YOU want (unless you're a BIG time loser)

Please read the NHF's, read the 100's of other posts on the same subject before you ask this question.

I urge other users here to ignore the "which distro" questions, it's getting to be too much.
