I have two sound cards in my redhat 8 box. The first is on the motherboard and the second is not. Linux sees both but i only want to use the second. Redhat does not allow me to bypass the first and so i can't use the second which i really want. How can i disable the first. I've tried disabling it in the BIOS but i have a compaq and it doesn't allow me to.. Is there a third party program that deals with hadware stuff....
