during Slackware 8.0 installation, i installed LILO to the root option. there was also floppy and MBR for me to chose from. i realize mbr is a better choice, but the only way boot magic will detect my linux partition and boot to it is if i use the root option.
upon my 21st or 22nd start up of Slackware, after i clicked on linux in boot magic, instead of loading lilo like it always does, all i see is this:
LIL-
and it just stops working. i fixed the problem, and ran liloconfig and just installed to root again.
has anyone else had this problem? is it likely to happen again?
