how do i change my monitor resolution? i'm using Conectiva Linux (a brazilian distribution based on Debian) and i use KDE..

Did you select diferent resolutions when configuring X?

I am running Red Hat Linux myself and am wondering the same thing (how to change my monitor resolution).

There are a couple of ways, what to use depends on your setup, I would use "Xconfigurator" does video card and monitor
