Hostname. Erm, It's not setting.

Well I have edited all of the files in /etc for which would effect my host name. But's it's still linux... I would use linuxocnf but i can't use it..(See my other post)..

Any ideas how to chnage it?

According to your other post, you're using SuSE. So the easiest way to set up the hostname is to start yast (or graphical yast2) and change it from there. Yast is a cool setup tool and you have it in SuSE instead of linuxconf.
