Welcome to tax season :)

Ok, maybe it isn't everyone's favorite time of the year. I was just hoping to get some comments on this letter I sent to hrblock.com recently.

In your message submitted 03/20/20 you wrote:

I don't have a question, but more of a comment. The reason I'm _not_ going to file taxes with your company is ".ASP". If you really cared about the security of your customers information you would be willing to switch your servers to linux. My only hope is that you might see the error of your ways so that you may be able to correct them in the future. Linux gained about 25% of the server market last year. Compare that to Microsofts near 3%. I wish you the best of luck and I really do hope that I may be able to file my taxes here next year.

That's a bit apples v oranges; asp is a prog lang, Linux is an OS.
I do tend to feel Linux has the edge security wise (over MSWin), all other things being equal, but I wouldn't have used your comparison.
Just mho.

Sorry about that. I didn't mean to confuse anyone. From what I understand, ".asp" extensions are only on Windows servers. If I am incorrect about this, please let me know.

Send in more comments.

Without analysing the letter I think that is a great idea. Way to be a Linux advocate.
Way to go Sepero! Keep up the good work.

Thanx Magueta. Whenever I send an email about linux to businesses or states-men, I always try to appear as polite and informed as possible. I appreciate your comment.
