I just got me a new system and I tried to install Red Hat 7.1 on the primary slave and its not letting me. The motherboard is a ECS (Elitegroup) K7VZA v3.0 (KT133a Chipset) and the processor is a AMD Thunderbird 1.2 Ghz 266 FSB with 512 meg of 8 nanosecond SDRAM. I have a 20 gig Western Digital as the primary master and a 8.4 gig Western Digital as the primary slave. I boot off the cd-rom and choose text install. It goes ahead and starts booting the stock kernel then gets to the part where it is starting Anaconda and then errors out and says you can safely reboot your system now. I rebooted again off the cd-rom and chose the graphical install and I got the error after it had started the X server. Could it be possible that my video card is causing the problem? It is a GeForce MX 200 64 meg RAM. Has anyone ran into his problem before?... :( Any help would be appreciated.

no...like I said in the original post...it craps out when Anaconda is starting.

GeForces work really well under Linux, and even if they didn't, I don't think they'd cause a problem during a text install. I really don't know what the problem is though :(
