I assume someone will supply them quick. If not, I will be back soon, I hope. Just remembered a primitive one, it comes with DIP, and lets you dial, etc. The ISP one is, of course, KPPP and there are several others. filp 03-18-2003, 10:37 PM If you're looking for something to give you the same features as hyperterminal use minicom. I'm pretty sure that KPPP is just a wizard to help you connect to your ISP. Filp. pyr0 03-18-2003, 10:45 PM Ive tried using minicom before, but I gave up because whenever I do anything on the keyboard all that shows up is a bunch of jiberish. Ctrl + A + Z just shows up like "....akjd...e.@3.." and so on. I cant seem to get a response out of it, and sometimes after trying to use it my keyboard stays that way :-(. Ive looked at minicom -s to configure it but I cant seem to find anything wrong. filp 03-18-2003, 11:13 PM The ctrl+a+z thing got me when I started. Hold ctrl, press a, then release both keys, then you get your minicom screen, then you can press Z. If you're sending giberish then start looking into terminal emulation settings and things like that. Filp. justlinux.com
