In Noatun media player i was looking at the configuration settings. There's a part in there that says "Plugins", I wnet there to check some things out and now it's a little messed up! I added the "Tron" pluggin, it's like a play list thing. Now I can't remove the darn thing! I tried to uninstall the package and then reinstall it! That didn't work either! It won't remove if you try to remove it! AND it like changed all the file extentions so that .wav, .ogg, .mu3, .mp3, etc... do not work! Can anyone help me out here!?!

Touble finding Noatun on the KDE Desktop? Here it is:
KDE Menu> Multimedia> Sounds> KDE Media Player> Noatun> Settings> Configure Noatun> Plugins> Tron

Thank You! urbanchaos83@punkportal.com

Delete the directory .kde/share/apps/noatun
This should reset media player to the defaults.

i have the worst luck with Noatun too, it crashes all the time on me, but the good news is XMMS plays very well for MP3s and GTV Media Player is great for MPEG videos...

good luck with Noatune, hope you get it working for you better than i did...

OK... I will try those both... thanks guys!
When you Rip a CD with like Grip (right) lol... my brain is gona today :) You can play those files in XMMS right? It like turns them into .ogg and .mu3 mp3s! I can't seem to get it to work in XMMS... it just spins through the playlist really fast and doesn't stop! I can't get it to actually play :( Thank You,
;)

Yeah, Noatun blows - damn thing crashes constantly - honestly, I can't believe they set it as the default for playing sound media. I switched all that over to XMMS. Let's face it, it's prettier, more compact, it works, has greater flexibility, and has better plug-ins. I've had similar problems with the plug-ins for XMMS though. Recently I set one up and then everytime I loaded XMMS, it loaded the plug-in, crashed, took XMMS with it, and I could never run the damn program. If you ever have this problem, there's a hidden .xmms file in your home directory. Compare it against another user (like root) to see what the correct settings are to fix these problems. Usually it just sets some line to say LOAD CERTAIN PLUG-IN=TRUE or something and you just hyave to change it to false.

Ok... I really wish I could use the XMMS thing, but I friggin can't get it to play the files that it makes when I RIP CDs! Like the .ogg and .mu3 or whatever... sorry guys, but I'm new to this and I really don't know how things work quite yet! Like when I load the playlist... it just contiuously spins through the playlist! GRRR...
