where can i d/l mandrake???

hi,

mandrake 8.1 beta that is. the mandrake site keeps timing out or the page just freezes my browser. anyone have any links??? thank you if possible.

it keeps timing out for two possible reasons.

1.you have a crappy connection
or..
2. more likely is that 8.1 is out of beta and a few hundred thousand mandrake users are trying to dowload the iso's

Hey there SD!

Sorry I didn't reply to your email....I have been busy. I kept fighting the ftp war to find a good server with a high speed connection...the best one I found to connect to was the Texas Tucows Sever.

Try this site out. It's in Toronto and very fast. ISOs only but lots of distros here. Used it for over a year, always fast.
