How can I change the description under my Drive icons on my Gnome desktop.
The ones that say, drive 0, drive 1, etc.

Right click on the icon, go to properties, and change the name

i don't believe that works, because the name is actually the path to that thing. what i did was clicked on the name underneath the icon. it highlighted. then i clicked and held my mouse button on the name, that allowed me to edit, i erased it and typed in what i wanted for the name.
