Ok boys im looking for the best software in this categories:
Word processor or office suites.(not staroffice.slowwww)
Video edition(support for asf, mpeg, divX...)
CD burnning.

The koffice suite is nice, though I can't seem to make kword put a footnote on a page, which is integral to my line of work. So when I need to do work stuff, I use WordPerfect. IMO, Abiword is slightly behind Kword (Kwrite?), but it's still capable of putting lots of words on the page where you want them.
For CD burning I think most people use xcdroast, which is included with many distributions already.

Word processing: KWord (already mentioned) or AbiWord.
Video: Don't know.
CD Burning: cdrecord or gcombust (I recommend cdrecord).

I take it by video editing, you mean something of the Adobe Premier type? There was an article on Slashdot not long back about a new free video editor of that type.

If you are looking for an ASF player in linux you aren't going to find one i believe that is Microsoft's audio/video streaming format that isn't support by any linux video programs as of yet (TO MY KNOWLEDGE) please let me know if I am wrong I would like to know of one.. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif
