How do I change a network card in RH 7?

I want to change the network card that is installed in RH Linux 7 from a 10bt to a 3Com 100bt network card.

Upon initial installation, Linux recognized it, but something didn't work right, and I get an error on the eth0 device when booting.

What utility/program do I use, and where is the information that stores the network card information?

Dude,

Try linuxconf from either the command line or the GUI version, check in the basic network services stuff and take a look at which module is controlling the network adaptor. If you already did this.... then the config file is somewhere in /etc ;-)
