I see 3dfx has officially closed up shop. Didn't think to check nVidia until right now. Anybody??

I just found the glide voodoo 2 drivers by searching freshmeat.net. You could also try http://linux.3dfx.com where I got mine from.

That linux link is long dead,it was useless in first place as they run it on NT which would be down most of the time,go figure...anyway back to the topic i've just uploded them to my site ( http://plblaze.home.att.net/data/index

I went to bed early and now I am waiting to buy Ben Harper tickets online [they go on sale in 15 minutes]. I'll get the drivers after that. Thanks for the help I am going to play the first quake on my new, correctly installed 2.4 kernel. Thanks for the help.

Did the 3dfx device thingie get updated to work with 2.4?

I don't thinks so,it is only for 2.2.xx series but i remember there was a patch or workaround for getting it under 2.3.xx/2.4.0 kernel.Hope this helps.
