JohnT 03-07-2003, 04:37 PM The SS is kinda small, but it looks like one I saw over at http://www.kdelook.org/ . Don't ask me what category, but it might be under icewm. mangeli 03-07-2003, 04:59 PM Is that the default mandrake theme? linux12414 03-07-2003, 05:03 PM Originally posted by mangeli Is that the default mandrake theme? It looks that way to me too. I rescaled the image. Just looks like the menu was made transparent. viperlin 03-07-2003, 05:06 PM looks like keramik to me way to small if it's KDE then go to www.kdelook.org and try and find it InferiorWang 03-07-2003, 06:04 PM how do you make the kde menu transparent? I haven't seen it in any option, but I may just be an idiot. mdwatts 03-07-2003, 06:19 PM It is Keramik and is included with KDE 3.1. ControlCenter>Look and Feel>Style>Effects. InferiorWang 03-07-2003, 07:04 PM hmmm...I dont see a look and feel. I just noticed I have kde 3.0.5a. Is transparency supported under that? Someody said something about kde 3.1 but I dont know if it makes a diff. Hayl 03-07-2003, 07:09 PM Originally posted by InferiorWang hmmm...I dont see a look and feel. Someody said something about kde 3.1 but I dont know if it makes a diff. you have been able to do transparency in KDE since version 2 if you use patches. :) check on kde-look.org and see if there is a patch for the version taht you are running. when i used to run KDE i always used to install the keramik transpaency patch. InferiorWang 03-07-2003, 11:06 PM aha! found it. thx. sean_foulkes 03-10-2003, 12:34 PM -It's not the default mandrake theme (not in 9.0 anyway) -It's not included in mandrake or redhat -Sorry about the tiny screenshot: I though i'd uploaded the full-size version. It's from the mandrake website, though. -How do you install KDE themes from the mandrake cds? I installed a kdethemes.rpm(not the exact filename), but the only thing i did was put a theme entry in the kde control panel that is the name of the rpm. There's only one new entry too, and when i click on it it gives me a "not a valid theme file" error. Help! shadowrider 03-11-2003, 05:29 PM you can get the similar result with mosfet high liquid engine theme (http://www.mosfet.org/liquid.html) justlinux.com
