Linux vs Solaris benchmarks

I've done google searches on this, and cannot find an answer anywhere. Our IT Infrastructure director is currently looking for benchmarks of linux vs solaris. We mostly use solaris in a web server capacity here, and are interested in Benchmarks dealing with JVM & apache tomcat speed on as close to similar hardware as possible. Does anyone know of such benchmarks?
