Good Mail Reader??

I'm looking for an Agent like news reader. What I'm looking for is a reader that will automatically assemble multi-part messages (mp3s for example). Knode is does not handle them well. Anyone got a suggestion? I've looked at Sourceforge and Freshmeat for one, but I'm looking for testimonials(sic).
