Ever since i got my web interface going with linuxconf i have been unable to run it at the console. can someone tell me what i did to screw that up? running rehat 7. someone atleast point me in the right direction.

Also. I cant seem to add users in linuxconf, the command times out.

I run RedHat6.2 and I don't use linuxconf. It does some strange things, IMHO.

I added these to my .bashrc file:

alias dial='/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup ppp0'
alias hangup='/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifdown ppp0'
If that's where your dial up/down scripts are in 7.0, those commands should work in console.

I would add users by hand as well.

I think linuxconfig is a little too *****ious program that is buggy.
