Hi i was wondering how i would go about burning cdr's in linux...

i know that theres a burning program for redhat 8 but since ive enlightenment over gnome i dont know how to access it... I actually dont even know the name of the program if there is any at all...


anyone know a burning program with a gui that i can use?

GUIs suck for CD burning. It's much quicker from the command line. Use mkisofs to make an ISO image of the files you want to burn, then use cdrecord to burn it onto CD-R.

The Redhat 8 CDs contain 3 different cd writer programs afaik, these are:
GNOME Toaster (gtoaster)
KDEonCD (koncd)
X CD roast (xcdroast)
