Newbie....
Ok. Here we go. Two hard drives: 120-gb and 20gb.
120g is split- Win 98 and Win 2k (2-Fat32 and 2-NTFS partitions)
20g has Mandrake 9.0 installed.
Can access Linux via floppy.
I am attempting to access the Linux installation by using NTLDR. I found several writeups on this and have by command line and by using bootpart, extracted the info concerning the boot sector on hdb1 and created the "proper" entry in boot.ini. However, upon selecting that entry from the ntldr screen, the load process starts then dumps out with a NTLDR not found error. I at first thought I had typo'd the command dd if=/dev/hdb1 of=bootsect.lnx bs=512 count=1 with a reference to hda1, but I ran again with the same issue. Any ideas?
