Hi...
I am trying to install SDL-1.2.2-1.i386.rpm but when I do this thru Package Manager I am told there are dependencies on 2 other progs. When I try to uninstall THESE, they have further dependencies on yet more software.
How do I dsolve this? I have tried unchecking "Check Dependencies" and "Upgrade" and "Replace Packages" and "Replace Files" (in varying combinations" but all I get is:
installing binary package
file /usr/lib/libSDL-1.1.so.0 from install of SLD-1.2.2-1 conflicts with file from package SDL-1.1.7-3
How do I get round this? Its driving me cazy!!!
